This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. the location is unbeatable, being situated right on the Nagara River with stunning views of the illuminated castle at night. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, particularly the manager who went out of his way to assist us. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, even providing green tea bags for that extra touch of comfort. The breakfast provided was also exceptional, offering a perfect start to the day.

Nothing could be improved.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel's cleanliness and spacious room impressed us. The staff, who spoke fluent English, were extremely helpful. The breakfast was perfect, and we loved the top-floor outdoor onsen with its stunning view of a nearby castle. The hotel's location on the river added to its charm.

It was all superb.

Absolutely loved the amazing hot springs with breathtaking views. the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day with a variety of American and traditional Japanese dishes. the customer service was exceptional with staff going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. the location is perfect, situated near the Nagara River and easily accessible by public transport.

The ventilation in the room needs improvement; the air conditioning would turn off periodically, causing breathing difficulty during sleep.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff provided excellent service and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the well-appointed rooms with green tea bags to the diverse and tasty breakfast. The location, with its beautiful view of the river and Gifu castle, was perfect.

The rooftop hot spring baths were the highlight of our stay, offering a relaxing soak with stunning views. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, despite the language barrier. The location was convenient, situated near popular attractions such as the castle and the riverside village.

The rooms were quite basic and could use some upgrading. The rooftop hot spring baths tended to get crowded, making it difficult to fully enjoy the experience.
